Implant
Dental implants are used as artificial roots in cases where there is no tooth in the mouth or one or more missing teeth. Thanks to the prostheses supported by dental implants, chewing is done like your main tooth and also much more successful aesthetic results can be obtained. In case of single tooth deficiencies, healthy teeth can be made without the need for any operation on the adjacent teeth. Implants are made of high-tech titanium, which is accepted by body tissues and is extremely durable.
They are placed in an operation that takes about half an hour under local anesthesia. They are intended to function in the mouth for a lifetime without any problems. Since the surfaces of the implants are subjected to special processes, they form a special bond to the bone and are attached mechanically and cellularly. It is the ideal method to wait between 3-6 months for the connection to occur.
In recent years, there are researches on making prosthesis without waiting. In this method called immediate (immediate) loading, many criteria such as tissue condition, implant area, torque force applied during placement, laboratory must be fully compatible with each other. It is in the patient's best interest to fully comply with the waiting times, as minimal mismatches in these relationships will result in the loss of the implant. The reactions of the implants applied to the extraction cavities and healed ridges under early loading were compared, and as a result, the risk of 20% loss in immediate loading was determined.
